She's no Keith Olbermann
Video by madduane, written by Mark Day.
Mark's words are definitely written from a guy point of view, I think juxtaposing a liberal straight guy's views on a puppet of Sarah Palin is illuminating; at least it is to me.

My Feelings of Withdrawal
I still have Princess Sparklepony on my bookmark bar on my browser. The post at the top of the blog and the next couple explain why Peter doesn't do it anymore, and I understand those reasons perfectly well, but at the same time, it was so much fun to read and so mind expanding to hear his views on the world. Smart, funny, sensitive, honest at a level I could only hope to emulate (and never succeed at), Peter has always been an inspiration to me, and his blog was fuel for my mind and spirit. I look forward to what he does next.
To get a good idea what the blog was like in its heyday, go into the archives to the end of 2007 or into 2008.

The second and final Sylvia and Prince Raymond episode
This took me about 7 weeks to make. Sylvia's voice obeys French pronunciation rules, which I don't know & had to intuit. After almost two months of massaging that dialogue, I still couldn't get it right. So I will not be revisiting these characters, at least not at xtranormal.com.

The Debut of Sylvia and Prince Raymond.
Just me messing around. I think I may do more episodes of this.

Collab w/ Steve K
Oddment Ops is the next song for Admin Apse & Other Design Choices, the new album I'm making & posting at macidol.com. This one is a track that already existed in an incomplete form, which Steve has finished perfectly. There's more info about how I'm connected to Steve on the other side.

New Song!
Just finished a new tune entitled "admin apse." I do lots of different stuff musically: this bit happens to be avant-electronica. I think I'm going to try to come up with a whole album of stuff like this.
I love feedback about my music.

Stromlight Night video
Here's what I've been working on for the last few weeks:
I'm happy with the video itself. I worked really hard on timing, so it's disappointing to me to watch it hang up when it streams. I hope your streaming works better than mine. Part of what makes me love this vid so much is how much it gets from all of my friends and family. So many of these images are references to people who are important in my life.

More Metablogging
I've been working on a video, so a lot of my blogging time has been taken up with the shooting & editing involved. I figure to be done with it tomorrow (I'll post it here so you can see what I've been doing) and then I can start on the project here that I've been wanting to do.
If anybody's actually out there paying attention, thanks for hanging in!

Still Here!
Usually a post like this means that it's almost over: a lame attempt to revive something the blogger feels they *should* be doing, right before they give up entirely.
I, however, have achieved new purpose. Watch this space!

I Can't Believe It!!!
Paul Blart: Mall Cop is still in the top 5 movies, after 8 weeks in release, and has earned an estimated domestic gross of about $135 million. That Kevin James must be really HI-LARIOUS! I've always thought Kevin James is to Jim Belushi as Jim Belushi is to John Belushi, so I guess what this really means is that we really need John Belushi right about now...

Political Limericks
I posted these at the Stephanie Miller Show's liveblog today. Thought I would share.
There once was a f***wit named Hannity
Whose hair was the source of his vanity
But underneath that
Was a cranial vat
Of rotten disgusting inanity
There once was a pundit named Coulter
Who listened to nothing you told her
The left thought her male
And her ideas would fail,
But dittoheads kept her pics in porn folders
There once was a Rick named Santorum
Who fouled air in our Senate’s quorum
He thought sex with dogs
Would rile up the trogs
Though most said “here Rover!”, and ignored him

Dunny "Mr. Frante"
My brother brought up these boxes for us to open -- inside are these little dolls with kinda like rabbit ears. They're painted different ways, they're sold as blind stock and meant to be collectible. This one is Karen's, and I photographed it sitting on my brother's dining table. I's about 4 inches high.
New Kitchen #4
I wrote a song about it. Want to hear it? Here it goes:
Oh, my mommy gots a new kitchen
with lots of counter spaaaaaace
I gues the old one had her bitchin'
that it wasn't a good cookin' place!
NEW KITCHEN!!

RPM '09 comin' up!
Oh, dear.
Evidently, I am going to do this. I don't know that I have the time, but I think I have a strategy to make this happen and not impact all that needs to happen in my life that month.
Here is a song I posted over at macidol that is kind of my dry run to see if I actually do have a method that wil get me to the finish line, and I think it's gonna work.
Wish me luck!
EDIT (2/17/09): Totally not happening! I may get a track together for the macidol comp thingie, but the individual thing was a bad idea for me right now, so is not going to happen.
