Damn it! John McCain took my advice!

Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska, originally uploaded by J Medkeff.

That guy is such a "maverick".

Edit: If McCain gets elected & dies in office, this is who he expects to be able to run this country.

Say yer prayers, folks.

Edit 2: Did you notice that the Palin pin is bigger than the sparkly flag pin? Do you think that means anything?

I've been really upset about this (i don't know if you noticed).

I finally realized what i should have seen from the get-go, that she really is just a diversion from the real issues. I have tried not to get upset and rant so much about it.

At the same time, i do think her abuse of power and the corruption that is staring us right in the face does need to be examined.

So, i am kind of torn about whether to just tune her out.

I feel so powerless about everything. I feel like my only power is to post up whatever information i can find on Facebook. I guess that's pretty pathetic.

No, I think it shows you care.

You're right, she's a diversion. Note, though, that Barack has not risen to the bait at all (nor has Biden, that much) and now whatever power she may have had to sway voters is dissipating quickly.

I heard an interesting prediction today -- somehow, it's going to work out that Caribou Barbie will miss the debate. At the last minute, there'll be an emergency or something, and she won't show. It was pointed out that she never debated once when she was running for Governor of Alaska...
